Len Power, R.E.T., founded Fundamental Technologies in July 2005. Len delivers a diverse scope of qualifications including design, supervision and construction management. This distinct background coupled with over 20 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, further enriches Len’s proven ability to inspire and drive the Funtec team towards exceptional service and quality that achieves successful project outcomes.

Len’s productive strategy has grown Funtec, to provide services ranging from project management; land and regulatory; to construction supervision and management. His direct approach and strong leadership, paired with his exceptional team, supports and contributes towards an unwavering commitment to continual improvement through industry development and environmental stewardship in Northwest Alberta.

Dylan

Vice President/Partner

Dylan joined 2024 as Vice President and Partner to help the team grow and rebrand to Funtec Projects. The strategic re-brand to Funtec Projects will ensure long term business success, client support, and sustainability of the growth planned as the transition to engineering services is added.

Dylan’s experience as a Professional Engineer has been focused on Oil & Gas production and operations gained working for the producing companies. Working as both a production and operations/facilities engineer, Dylan brings a strong understanding of the business drivers that each client is responsible. Capitalizing on the direct experiences working to represent the Oil and Gas producer for many years, Dylan is well aligned with the client’s needs and requirements. A combination of management of change, process safety, project management, and construction management provide a well-rounded client facing leader.

Dylan Rautenstrauch, P.Eng., graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 2014 and is a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
